The leap that separates "I can move layers" from "I make motion graphics". Alpha channel, track mattes, parenting, text animators and shape layers with their modifiers: the tools professional animated graphics are built with, taught through real exercises with project files included. The natural continuation of AE-101, with the same method I've been refining for 20 years in production and in the classroom. With Jorge Mochón, Adobe Certified Instructor. And you take it in your language: native audio in Spanish, English and Portuguese, with subtitles in all three.

By the end of the course you'll know how to

  • Decide how to integrate each element —alpha, track matte, blending mode— based on the material you get and the finish you are asked for.
  • Structure the scene so a client change is solved by moving one layer, not by redoing fifty keyframes.
  • Animate text with intent: when it goes per character, when per word, and why that difference shows on screen.
  • Build vector graphics that can change size, colour and shape halfway through the project without starting over.
  • Recognise what separates a piece that is «done» from one with studio finish, and get it there.

Is it for you?

This course is for you if…

  • You already know the After Effects basics (AE-101 or equivalent) and want to produce real motion graphics.
  • You make corporate or social video and need animated graphics with a professional finish.
  • You want to go from hand-animating to building reusable animation systems.

It's not for you if…

  • You have never opened After Effects: start with AE-101.
  • You are looking for ready-made templates: here you learn to build them yourself.
